Step through the doors and discover a traditional sweet shop filled with colour, nostalgia and plenty of surprises. With more than 670 jars of sweets lining the shelves, there is always something familiar to re-discover or something new to try.

Step back in time and have your favourites weighed out right in front of you in our authentic traditional sweet shop. Alongside our traditional jarred sweets, you can explore a Pick & Mix counter with more than 50 different choices, from classic favourites to fizzy, gummy and chocolate treats.

There is even more to enjoy while you are here, including candyfloss, popcorn and iced slush, making a visit to Mr Swainstons about much more than simply picking up a bag of sweets.

We are always searching for unusual products, rare finds and forgotten favourites too. You may even come across a sweet you have not seen since childhood.

And if you have followed our journey on television or social media, there is a good chance you will see the familiar faces behind Mr Swainstons in the shop. We are regularly on site and always enjoy meeting the people who have supported the business and followed our story.

Mr Swainstons is not just somewhere to buy sweets. It is the rows of jars, watching your favourites being weighed out, discovering something you had forgotten existed and enjoying the feeling of stepping into a authentic traditional sweet shop.

Making a visit to Mr Swainstons is so much more than just collecting a bag of nostalgia, you can also make use of our outdoor seating area whilst having a nice refreshing drink from our in store sarsaparilla bar.

There is something about Pick & Mix that instantly brings back memories.

Standing in front of all those sweets, deciding what makes the cut, going back for just one more favourite — and somehow creating a mix that is completely your own.

Our Pick & Mix counter is packed with over 50 choices, from old favourites you will remember from years gone by to newer treats waiting to be discovered.

Choose as much or as little as you like. A handful of your absolute favourites, a little bit of everything, or a bag filled entirely with that one sweet you simply cannot resist.

Because sometimes the best memories are made one sweet at a time.

More Than Just Sweets

A visit to Mr Swainstons is about getting involved, having fun and enjoying the experience.

Watch candyfloss being freshly spun right in front of you, enjoy the unmistakable smell of freshly made popcorn, or have a go at our Millions dispenser and fill up with your favourite tiny chewy sweets.

You can even discover our Salt Water Taffy selection, with plenty of flavours to choose from and something a little different to try.
